I was raised in both Murfreesboro, NC, and Como, NC and now reside in Murfreesboro with my husband and our two dogs.

I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in business management and started my photography business in 2019. It has been a joy to meet so many amazing people through photography and my experience with Carolina Land and Home Realty has been equally as rewarding! Since 2022, I have been managing the marketing and day to day activities at Carolina Land and Home Realty and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have been in Real Estate for nearly 13 years but prepared for this job most of my life through experience, I am a Registered Forester and did timber appraisal work, bought and sold standing timber for Georgia Pacific Corporation for 20 years.

I ran my own company for 15 years as well as owning and developing, a golf course facility in Winton N.C. which I sold in 2008, I am a Licensed Auctioneer, so I have the ability to assist clients with the disposal of unneeded personal property. I am a native of New Jersey and moved to Ahoskie in 1991 from Florida, and I am proud to call the Roanoke Chowan area home. I am a graduate of Duke University and am an avid supporter of the Blue Devils.

I have two grown children and three sweet and adorable grandsons. I am a member of the Ahoskie Garden Club and the Ahoskie Women’s Club, and currently serve as chairman of the Ahoskie Planning Board and Board of Adjustments.

I have been working in real estate since 2005 and have led our office in listing and sales for many years. I have learned that service and honesty keep my buyers and sellers confident in my ability to satisfy their real estate needs. I find it very rewarding to meet nice people from all parts of the country and assist them in the purchase or sale of their property.

I am a life-long resident of North Carolina, being born in Edenton, NC.  I have resided in Chowan, Bertie, and Hertford Counties.  I am a graduate of Bertie High School, East Carolina University, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

I have previous professional experience as a Laboratory Technician at a research and development facility, where I also served on the Emergency Medical Response Team.  I have volunteered and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician.  I have spent much of my professional life as a Registered Nurse, mostly in the Emergency Department setting.  I have also served as Emergency Management Coordinator function during part of this time.

I have served the communities I have lived in through various organizations.  I have served on a volunteer rescue squad and various fire departments, providing needed emergency response.  I have served in Chief Officer positions, administrative and training functions, as well as have served on committees and board of directors.  I have been appointed and then elected to the Town Council as well as coached t-ball and soccer.

I am now licensed by North Carolina as a Real Estate Broker.
